“A fabulous way to walk off a hearty breakfast and to chat very informally with other guests and some of the Polizzi team. This stay was a rare treat for us and Alex made it very special. Many thanks.”
“The guided walk was a fantastic unique opportunity to meet the team at The Star and to share their passion and knowledge for the surrounding beautiful countryside, as well as to meet fellow guests. A real ‘must do’ activity.”
“Walking the south downs by itself is magical, to do it in such great company moves it to another level, excellently organised by The Star team”
“We all really loved your walk. Great to go somewhere new with confident leaders. The group gelled well together, you arranged the weather perfectly and of course we had the pleasure of your company too. We would certainly come on another walk and stay at The Star. You have made a wonderful job of the renovation. The attention to detail, the food, the staff and the whole ambience was a delight.”
“We had a fabulous morning walk. Absolutely enjoyed every minute of it, beautiful scenery and wonderful company. Loved chatting to everyone en route, it was a joyous event and would love to do it again. So lovely afterwards to sit and have lunch with the group, it was also good to see a lot of the group in the dining room in the evening and at breakfast this morning. It created such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Love The Star, you have created something truly special and all your hard work and effort is clear to see.”
“Great walk, spectacular views and the right amount of hills! Good way to chat to other guests and reward ourselves with a nice glass and fab food in the sunny courtyard at the end. All for a good cause too. Thank you.”
