Employee of the Year

Andrew joined us in 2024 and has a very positive attitude. The hotel team recognises him as someone always willing and on hand to assist. He regularly performs tasks outside his remit to help his colleagues, especially during very busy evenings at the hotel.

Newcomer of the Year

Marion has proven to be a great addition to the team. She has a very positive attitude and has developed great working relationships with the team. During Marion’s first months, she had to relandscape the grounds on either side of the stairs leading to the car park after significant storm damage took down two large trees. One root ball could not be removed because it was too large and she has creatively incorporated this into the redesign. Both our guests and colleagues have noted her hard work in the garden. She has a great eye for detail and always looks for ways to improve the hotel’s landscaping.

Above & Beyond Award

Richard is one of our long serving employees with over 9 years of service. Richard always works hard, he has mentored many of the chefs and kitchen staff over the years. In the last year, Richard has taken on significantly more responsibility to manage our culinary team which has been a great asset to our Head Chef.
