Tresanton is a cluster of houses on the edge of St Mawes, one of the prettiest fishing villages in Cornwall.
Sun-drenched by day, candle lit by night. The restaurant has a mosaic floor and a Pelargonium filled terrace. South facing, your eyes are constantly drawn to the sea. On a sunny day, Tresanton’s dining room is one of the loveliest places to eat in England.
The terraces cascade down the hillside towards a Mediterranean-style beach club set just above the waterline.
Pinuccia is our magnificent 8m classic yacht that’s available to our guests. Designed by Baglietto Varazze, she was built in 1939 to race for Italy.
The special light made West Cornwall a centre for modern and abstract British artists in the 1940s to the 1960s. The hotel is decorated with paintings and drawings from Cornwall
There is a lovely Georgian Chapel, bought and elegantly renovated by Olga Polizzi
Situated on Chapel Terrace, a short (but steep!) walk up the hill from the St Mawes waterfront. It is home to our cultural programme of events. In November we hold our own Music Festival.
The hotel also has a private room which can be used for large dinners. It can seat up to 60 guests.
