Join Su Blackwell and make your own paper sculpture posy of snowdrops from pages of old books. There will be morning and afternoon paper sculpture workshop sessions led by Su Blackwell, in The Pilgrims’ Room at The Star. Guests will break for a two course lunch in The Inn during which they will enjoy a selection of sumptuous British dishes with an Italian twist, prepared by The Star’s kitchen team.
Su says ‘As we enter Spring in the UK, one of the first flowers to emerge is the delicate, yet hardy little Snowdrop. Join me in celebrating their return in my Paper Snowdrop Workshop in the charming surrounding of The Star in Alfriston. You will be guided step-by-step on how to make a beautiful sprig of snowdrops using paper from my collection of favourite old books. They make a gorgeous gift for yourself or a friend.’
This paper sculpture workshop is £130 per person, and includes two coffee breaks, a two course lunch (excluding wines) and all artistic materials.
Su Blackwell is an artist working predominantly within the realm of paper. Su exhibits her exquisite paper sculptures across the UK, and also teaches her craft.
