A Private Tour of Trewithen House & Garden
You are invited to join a private tour of Trewithen House and Garden with Sam and Kitty Galsworthy, the chatelaine of the magnificent 18th century property.
The Galsworthy family sponsored some of the great plant hunters to gather an astonishing seed collection from far flung countries. These were shipped back to England and successfully cultivated at Trewithen – leading to a great botanical reputation that endures to this day. In spring, the quiet rest of winter gives way to an exotic burst of colour. As an International Camellia Garden of Excellence, Trewithen is world renowned for stunning displays of spring flowers. Head Gardener, Gary Long, will lead a tour of the 30 acre subtropical garden at its spring best.
A buffet lunch of sandwiches and quiches, made with estate produce, will be served in the dining room at Trewithen. Guests can enjoy conversation with Sam and Kitty over lunch.
This is an exclusive event for members of The Club in Roseland. Membership is free and open to everyone who resides on the Roseland Peninsular. Local club members receive discounts on wine and dining at the hotel as well as a programme of exclusive events.
