Introducing two new suites

The Lady Olga Suite

Situated in the former hay loft of the old stables this suite was very challenging to design.
‘The spaces have worked out well and are quirky and charming. This suite is particularly romantic, cosy and unusual, somewhere I would like to stay myself’says Olga Polizzi.

At the top of the staircase is a beautiful 19th century French desk which looks out over the stable courtyard.

To the right is the pretty bedroom set in the eaves. At the foot of the bed, is a bespoke pop-up television set into a sofa, decorated in a peony print fabric.

The bed, with its supremely comfortable Glencraft mattress, is covered in a green print fabric by Jane Churchill, and dressed with a sumptuous throw by Blanc d’Ivoire.

The sitting room has a wood burning stove and a long table that can seat six people for dining.

The Colefax and Fowler wallpaper up the stairs and in the hallway is an uplifting print called ‘Greenacre’.

Through this pantry is a spacious sitting room with views of the extensive Humphry Repton gardens.

The bathroom that has a freestanding bath and shower. Down a couple of steps is the pantry, with a bar area and tea and coffee facilities.

One enters The Lady Olga Suite from the courtyard, through the original stable door, walking over the original floor of small one inch concrete tiles, into a panelled hallway, with a striking eighteenth century statue of a mother and child.

Stable Suite 21

The bed has a headboard upholstered in a Colefax & Fowler fabric.

The ground floor suite’s entrance hallway is parallel to a large quirky bathroom with a freestanding rolltop bath and walk-in shower.

Adjacent to this is a pantry with a bar area and tea and coffee facilities.

The sitting area has views of the Humphry Repton gardens.

This area then sweeps around to the bunk-bed room, again with tongue and groove walls, a fun place for children to stay.
