Hoogly Tea Tasting

Join Tina Gloggengieser, Founder of Hoogly Teas, for a Tea Tasting Experience at The Star. The afternoon will begin with a fun and informative tea tasting led by Tina, that will involve the smelling and tasting of 12 tea varieties, including light white teas, herbal, smoky and black chais. There will be a surprise tea, and a prize for the guest who guesses what is in it. This will be followed by an Afternoon Tea buffet to include Pistachio Macaroons, Strawberry Mousse, Mini Mango Cheesecake, Mini Frangipan Tarts and Plain & Fruit scones with cream and jam.

Hoogly Tea is a British brand with a Nordic twist, created to bring a little comfort and indulgence into everyday life. Their teas are crafted with care, offering rich aromas and naturally soothing flavours. The idea was born from Tina Gloggengieser, a tea enthusiast from Aarhus, Denmark, who now lives in Brighton. Tina’s lifelong passion for food, tea, and the Nordic way of life led her to combine two loves: the joy of tea and the Danish art of cosiness, known as Hygge.
