Bloomsbury Ramblers Retreat with Alex Polizzi

On Tuesday 25 March, you are invited to join us for a circular afternoon walk to Berwick Church, to see the stunning murals by Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell.

After dinner and a night at The Star, on Wednesday 26 March, Alex will lead a full day circular walk through Friston Forest and back across the hills and past pretty Lullington Church. You will stop at noon at The Eight Bells in Jevington, where you will enjoy a two course lunch.

The following morning, on Thursday 27 March, you will make your own way to Charleston (or lifts can be arranged) for a private tour of this historic house and garden, former home of The Bloomsbury Group. You will also have the opportunity to look round the new exhibition of post-impressionist works from the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, featuring iconic paintings and works on paper by artists such as Paul Cézanne, Vincent Van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Camille Pissarro. Guests will depart from Charleston.
