Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an experienced highly professional, self motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the Food & Beverage Team. We are set at the foot of the East Sussex Downs and on the banks of the Cuckmere River in the heart of the beautiful Alfriston Village.

This is a full time position, 40 hours a week, 5 days a week, including weekends.

Job Description

-Assistant Restaurant Manager
-£31,200 PA
-Equal share of service charge (approx. £5,000 pa)
-Meals whilst on duty
-28 days holiday per year increasing after 2 years employment to 30 days
-Staff accommodation may also be available for full time applicants

Due to the village location it is necessary to have your own transport.

About the role

As Assistant Manager, you will report to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager and be one of two Assistant Restaurant Managers. You will be responsible for providing leadership, to be hands-on, leading from the front whilst motivating and ensuring the welfare of the team. Likewise ensuring the highest standards of guest relations and presentation, whilst achieving department objectives and financial requirements.
