Join us in March for a week long series of world-class chamber music recitals, as part of the Kirker Music Festival, staring Simon Rowland-Jones and The Maxwell String Quartet. On Monday 16 March, the festival opens with a talk from Petroc Trelawny, who grew up on the Lizard Peninsula and continues to have strong links with Cornwall. He is a regular BBC Radio 3 presenter and introduced Breakfast for many years until the spring of 2025 when he moved to In Tune. He regularly presents The Proms and other major music programmes on radio and television. In his interview with Barry Cheeseman, he will talk about Cornwall, his career and his recent book Trelawny’s Cornwall: A Journey Through Western Lands. Read more and book via the link in our bio.
