Arriving at The Star
Set in the medieval village of Alfriston, The Star is a two-hour drive from London or trains from London Victoria take around 90 minutes and come into the nearby town of Polegate, from which Alfriston is a 10-minute taxi ride. If you require a taxi, please let us know in advance of your arrival.
If you are driving, please come to the car park on Star Lane where our porters will meet you. If coming from the A27 turn right into Star Lane immediately after passing the hotel on the High Street; if you are coming from Seaford turn left into Star Lane immediately before the hotel. You will see green gates to the car park, please ring the bell to be let in.
The Star has a large gated car park with four fast electric charging points and a secure bike store.
