Zephyr Wildman will lead vinyasa yoga flow each morning, and breath work with Charlie Polizzi in the evening will focus on grounding practices. Nourish your body, mind and soul with delicious food and mindful activities against the calming backdrop of the Sussex countryside. New for this year will be a healing sound session with Ginevra Jolie and her crystal singing bowls. You will emerge renewed, empowered and ready to embrace life’s ever-changing landscape.

Each day will start with breakfast, followed by a guided walk, exploring the beautiful and diverse landscape of the South Downs and The Cuckmere Valley. You will need good walking boots/shoes and possibly wet weather gear as we plan to walk come rain or shine across varied, and sometimes quite steep, terrain.

Zephyr Wildman

Yoga instructor
Zephyr Wildman has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and will be leading the 1.5 hours of vinyasa yoga each morning and 1.5 hours of restorative practices and yoga nidra in the evening. Zephyr will be integrating psychology and yoga asana with yogic philosophy, highlighting a discipline that brings balance to body and mind on what she calls, ‘the middle path’.

This is Zephyr’s ninth retreat with The Polizzi Collection and for those that don’t know her you are in for a treat. You will be in very knowledgeable hands.

Charlie Polizzi

Breathwork instructor
Every evening Charlie Polizzi will be teaching one hour of breath work. It is not always easy to believe that where we are right now is where we are supposed to be. When we start cultivating unconditional love for ourselves by tapping into moment by moment awareness, listening to our hearts and remembering there is no right or wrong just where we are now, we are able to choose our own narrative.

N.B. The breath work is not suitable for pregnant women or those who have had surgery in the last two years unless you have consent from your doctor.

 

Genevra Jolie will host a sound bath session for the group. This is an opportunity for receiving sound, healing, restoration and realignment with Genevra and a beautiful collection of Alchemy Crystal Tones singing bowls.

Lisa Barrett offers holistic massage and facials. There will be the opportunity to have one of her treatments at The Star during your stay. Lisa has many years of massage experience and offers an indulgent, holistic facial which incorporates the neck, arm, hand and décolletage areas using beautiful botanical oils and balms.

The menus are carefully curated to provide a balance of healthy, restorative and delicious dishes. We will be offering a cooked breakfast, a light lunch and a three course dinner each day. There will always be a vegan option and a fish/white meat option main course. The group will dine together. No one will raise an eyebrow if you feel like having a glass of wine. This is your week to relax and recharge.

A Classic Juliet bedroom

What’s included?
From £1980 based on single occupancy staying in a Classic Juliet room including four nights accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, guided walks and all yoga teaching. Double occupancy from £2800.

Packing List
Bring all weather gear along with your yoga kit. There are wellington boots provided in all sizes by the hotel but for those serious walkers you may want to bring walking boots

Terms
50% deposit on booking with the remainder to be paid at the end of the stay. Cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival incurs a loss of the deposit. Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice incurs loss of the full stay.
