Al Fresco Jubilee Lunch

On Sunday, 5 June, we will be serving a royal feast in the beautiful Courtyard, in the Bar and in the Dining Room. Lunch begins with a starter of prawn cocktail, followed by sliced Sussex Red beef sirloin or poached salmon with dill mayonnaise, with a selection of salads and a traditional sherry trifle with English strawberries for pudding. £55, children half price, including a glass of Pimms. Great for a large family get together and dogs are most welcome too.

Join in the Jubilee celebrations with the whole village with a drink in hand and listen to the piper. The High Street will be closed in order to encourage browsing in the local shops including our favourite, award-winning book shop, Much Ado Books, collectibles from Objet Trouve, antiques and fabrics from Diana Kelly interiors, vintage clothing and art from Emmett and White, locally sourced food and drinks from Village Store. The Apiary, Alfriston Gallery and many other interesting shops are also a must…
