Introducing The Forte Suite

The Forte Suite is the newest addition to The Star and looks out over the pretty internal courtyard. The sitting room has a wooden floor, a large comfortable velvet sofa, an antique desk from Alfie’s market, Glyndebourne prints, Bloomsbury-esque sculptures sourced from the local ‘Objet Trouve’ in Alfriston and a striking ceramic palm tree lamp from Les Trois Garcons. There are decanters of complimentary local spirits. Both main rooms are decorated with Olga Polizzi’s favourite beech leafy green wallpaper by Lewis and Wood, and her signature style is evident throughout with wonderful lighting, unusual objects and artworks, a relaxing mix of fabrics and plenty of books on the Mark Brazier-Jones designed bookcase.
